Azure IoT Central Architecture

IoT Central is a pre-built environment that allows you to rapidly assess your IoT scenario. It is an application platform as a service (PaaS) IoT solution with a web UI as its main interface. A REST API is also available, allowing you to communicate with your application programmatically.

Create a IoT Central Application

There are several approaches to developing an IoT Central programme. If you prefer a manual strategy, you can use one of the GUI-based methods, or you can use one of the CLI or programmatic methods to automate the process.

Connect your device

To connect and create an IoT plug and play add any smartphone using below steps :

In IoT Central, navigate to the Devices page and select Add a device:
Download the IoT plug-and-play app (PnP) on your smartphone and connect it by scanning the IoT central QR code.
Control the device from your application and view the telemetry it sends.

Once the smartphone is connected over IoT Central you can access your phone telemetry using IoT Central:
